The project director enlisted mentor couples and led them through six hours of mentor training regarding biblical principles of mentoring and marriage, conflict and resolution, stedardship, strengthening relationships, improving communications, and parenting together. The communities of Alabaster have experienced significant growth in population over the past ten years. The project manager identified a need for his church to determine the best strategies for reaching residents who are not Christians and are not involved in a local church. Demographic studies and feedback from local residents were utilized to determine the impact of this project on the community.
