The project director will begin by researching the field of doctrinal preaching and create a list of elements necessary for the design and delivery of doctrinal sermons. The project director researched the field of expository preaching in a multigenerational worship context. He conducted a generational demographic study of the congregation. He developed and delivered a series of expository sermons. To ensure improvement in expository preaching skills the project director submitted both poutlines and videos of sermon deliveries to experts in the fields of expository preaching and multigenerational worship for analysis. The project director studied key resources in order to determine the essential elements of an evangelistic preaching model and established a standard of research. The project director submitted the essential elements and the standard of research for review to experts in evangelistic preaching. Following the identification of the essential elements of an evangelistic preaching model, the project director developed four sermons based on the evangelistic preaching model. The project director then preached the sermons to the congregation of The Beginnings Church. The project director solicited feedback from a selected group of members of Ellaville Baptist Church via a sermon feedback form. The director reflected on the use of application in preaching to find general functions and principles of application and then developed a series of sermons that demonstrated the use of applications in preaching. A sermon evaluation form was developed through research and consultation with Hershael York, Professor of Christian Preaching at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Six sermons were preached and then evaluated by the project director, eight congregational evaluators and four peer evaluators.
