Biblical and theological framework is the imperative foundational value in human beings discovering who they are, who they belong to, who loves them, and how to live a reconciled life with God in this sinful world. First determining the self-esteem of the participants by administering the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI), the project then works with the youth in eight sessions to address their self-esteem as affected by their families, teachers, peers, and themselves. The author assisted the selected group in discovering and developing identity as persons. Activities included sermons, seminars, and discussion concerning the awareness of self-esteem. Evaluation involved a pretest/posttest questionnaire, critical observation, and several interviews by the author.
