The project director began this project with a discussion with Dr. Wayne Harvey, Director of Missions of the Santa Fe River Association, by researching the field of evangelism, and by the administration of a survey in High Springs, Florida, to determine if churches are doing marketplace evangelism. The project director researched various evangelism materials to determine which evangelism skill development would have the most potential to be effective in marketplace evangelism. After reviewing the literary work in the field of evangelism, analyzing the results of the survey, compiling a list of evangelistic skills, and the development of a comparison grid, the project director developed a curriculum and a one-day workshop, and trained selected members in marketplace evangelism skills. The project director studied key resources in order to determine the essential elements of an evangelistic preaching model and established a standard of research. The project director submitted the essential elements and the standard of research for review to experts in evangelistic preaching. Following the identification of the essential elements of an evangelistic preaching model, the project director developed four sermons based on the evangelistic preaching model. The project director then preached the sermons to the congregation of The Beginnings Church. The project director began this project by studying relevant works that address how to develop rapport when preaching to teenagers. After interviewing teenagers and itinerant communicators, the project director identified three preaching techniques that communicators can use to develop rapport with unacquainted teenage audiences. The project included the creation of a curriculum that functioned as a training tool to equip members in disciple-making. The seminar consisted of six sessions conducted over three days within a retreat setting.
