The project director researched various small group models and methods of strategic spiritual formation for a standard for curriculum development. The director identified and enlisted a strategy team at Southside Baptist Church. He used six sessions to equip the strategy team to develop a strategy. The strategy team developed a spiritual formation strategy using small groups. The strategy team is developing a plan to help blended families to connect with the church and to find solutions to their complex problems.  Eastside Baptist Church is a place where blended families can find help with their relationship with Christ.  The strategy is a plan to help families of divorce and remarriage to integrate into Eastside and to help them grow in their walk with Christ.  Although some people may be saved, the project is not primarily about evangelism.  The strategy is a plan for discipling of blended families through Eastside Baptist Church of Orlando.  The project examined Eastside Baptist Church of Orlando and the ability of the church to expand ministry to integrate blended families. Denominations have primarily offered a consultant and training model, but many, including the Tennessee Baptist Convention, are beginning to recognize the value of a coach approach to serve their constituents.  The project was completed in three phases.  Phase one involved investigating the field of coaching.  The research increased the project director's knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of coaching and how to utilize these to coach teams as well as individuals.  Phase two centered on applying the research to the project director's job as a ministry strategist with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. The project director compiled a manual which was published online for the use of the Ministry Strategist Team.  The final stage involved demonstrating the director's increased skill in the area of coaching. Trinity Baptist Church is located in a city that is seeing phenomenal growth and change, from being a small farming community to the second largest municipality in Orange County, Florida.  Many of the people moving to our community are members of the Bridger Generation, which is the second largest generation in American history.  This generation is very different from previous generations.  The challenge for the church is to develop a strategy to evangelize the young adults.  This project researched strategic methods used to evangelize young adults.  Upon completion of the research, the project director led a select group of young adults to create a strategy to evangelize young adults in Apopka, Florida. The projected director conducted research through means of an annotated bibliography of recommended books by academicians and from other professionals in the field of church growth ministry.  The project director had an expert in the field of curriculum development tutor him in curriculum development and evaluate his lesson plans.  Once tutoring had taken place, the project director developed a workshop consisting of six ninety-minute sessions.  The project director led these sessions for the selected group of First Baptist Church, Pontotoc, for the purpose of equipping them to implement the seeker-sensitive service. The equipping process will include: 1) providing a biblical rationale for utilizing deacons in aftercare ministry; 2) providing information discovered as a result of research regarding grief associated with death; 3) training the group to assist pastoral staff in aftercare ministry; and 4) encouraging sensitivity to and participation in aftercare ministry.
