The curriculum was developed based on the words of Jesus, 'Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men' (Mk. 1:17 NAS).  The selected believers participated in the developed six-week discipleship study that contained two weeks on following Jesus, two weeks on Jesus' conforming the believer and two weeks on the Christian's responsibility in soul winning.  The study included group meetings followed by daily, individual lessons, Monday through Friday.  The participants were evaluated before, during, and after the study. Development of the project included the preparation and delivery of doctrinal sermons and the utilization of young adults within the congregation, ages 20 to 39, as recipients and resources to provide sermon analysis.  The project director utilized the ministry-skill enhancement model.  Six doctrinal surveys were completed by the participants prior to a six-part doctrinal sermon series. The project goals included researching the field of conflict management, designing a workshop to equip selected leaders with conflict management skills, and equipping selected leaders with conflict management skills. The program presented the biblical basis for authority and the role of leadership in the local church.  Although secular leadership material along with material written for spiritual growth was utilized, the Bible was the primary source for discussion.  The program gave the participants a broad view of church governmental systems, pastoral authority, and biblical leadership principles.  The program also assisted each participant in developing a leadership strategy for his or her ministry.  The program was taught in five sessions.  The first three sessions were two hours each and the final two sessions were three hours
