First, the project director studied contemporary books by known church growth experts such as Thom Rainer, George Barna, Ken Hemphill, and Elmer Towns and books written by a leadership expert, John Maxwell.  Second, the project director interviewed church leaders who have helped churches transition from a plateaued church to a growing, vibrant community of believers.  Third, the project director studied the demographics of the Harbins community and the statistical data of the Ebenezer Baptist Church to compare the growth of the two entities to discover the effectiveness of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. After the research was completed, the project director developed a workshop for key leaders of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Dacula, Georgia. A sermon evaluation form was developed through research and consultation with Hershael York, Professor of Christian Preaching at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Six sermons were preached and then evaluated by the project director, eight congregational evaluators and four peer evaluators. The strategy will be developed through four training sessions of select members of Calvary Baptist Church.  The sessions will include an introduction to the Hispanic culture, a review of existing strategies, and a synthesis of strategy unique to the ministry field. The project focused on analyzing the church and community demographics, the church's leadership structure, the church's organizations, and the ministries of the church.  The components of the project included: (1) the research of healthy church growth characteristics; (2) the gathering of available healthy church growth models for analysis; (3) the conducting of church surveys and questionnaires with selected leaders; (4) the design, administration, and evaluation of training sessions with the leadership team; and (5) the planning and creation of the strategy.  The final step of the project was the presentation of the strategy to the congregation. The evaluation of the project included expert opinions of the researched models, the equipping materials, and the formation of the strategy. Research results, theological doctrines, and common church practice were combined with cultural and sociological realities of homelessness to develop a congregational plan for homeless people.  Findings confirmed that homeless people benefitted in areas of discipleship, fellowship, and leadership development.  Church worked best as indigenous leaders and a volunteer ministry staff were
