This ministry research model will include: a rationale for a mentor-enabled assimilation process; an explanation of how to implement the plan in a local church; a description of the qualifications of mentors and how to enlist and train them; four representative lessons of a twelve-lesson curriculum; and a teaching plan for the mentors for each of the included four lessons. The program involved twelve hours of training in both theoretical models and practical application. First, the project director obtained approval from the church congregation to allow the director to establish a ministry team that would develop the process.  Second, the director researched available materials on assimilation strategies in preparation for equipping team members.  Third, the director explored the field of curriculum design to gain the skills required to create a series of sessions in which the enlisted team members were equipped.  Fourth, the director led the sessions as team members developed the process.  Last, the ministry team presented the proposed process to the congregation for consideration. The project was accomplished in three phases.  The first phase was conducting the research.  The research focused on biblical models of disciple-making, specifically the inner circle model of Jesus.  The research also focused on the processes of mentoring, coaching, and reproducing disciples.  In the second phase, the project director developed a set of lesson plans.  The lesson plans were used in a fast-track training for making disciples using a triad model.  The final phase was the implementation phase.  In this phase the project director trained a selected group of believers to become disciple-makers using the triad model. At the conclusion of the project, the project participants were asked to make a commitment to make disciples using a triad model. Ten participants were trained through a five-session workshop that culminated with a weekend retreat. The workshop was entitled, 'Spiritual Formation through Solitude with God.' The workshop was based around the five areas of solitude: stillness, silence, sin, service, and speak. This equipping model project resulted in the development of a group of believers who are capable of spending extended times of solitude with
