This project will include: 1) research into the concept of the Spirit-filled life from a biblical, historical, and contemporary context; 2) development of curriculum for a forty-day discipleship training course on living the Spirit-filled life, and 3) equipping members of Turning Point Baptist Church to live a Spirit-filled life.  The curriculum includes lesson plans and an interactive student devotional.  The devotional contains forty chapters which are designed to be read in consecutive days.  Numerous individuals, including experts in the field of the Holy Spirit, critiqued and commented about the curriculum before church members were equipped. The project director trained and led a strategy development team composed of four Texas Baptist Student Ministry directors and two university students to develop the peer mentoring strategy.  The strategy development team and project director met together in six ninety-minute sessions. The first three sessions were devoted to demonstrating the need for a peer mentoring project with Texas Baptist Student Ministers and preparing the team to develop such a strategy.  The final three sessions focused on developing goals and objectives for each category of the strategy.  Following the sixth session, team members worked independently to complete the remaining parts of the strategy. The project director compiled and edited the final written strategy.
