Descriptive survey methodology and simple statistical evaluations were used with an experimental group. The project design consisted of a didactic seminar, the establishment of a tourism ministry committee, training and planning sessions, and the church's approval of the committee's recommendations.  Experimental and descriptive research methodologies were used with seminar participants and tourism ministry committee members. Statistically significant growth was measured in seminar participants' understanding of the biblical concept of mission (p=5.19) and committee members' development of basic leadership skills (p=1.44). Seven pastors were enlisted for a one-day seminar intended to generate a measurable increase in appreciating and understanding manifestos for ministry. Positive attitudinal changes were observed by means of a testing instrument and exit interviews. Three communication skills were covered in six weekly training sessions.  Those skills were verbal, nonverbal, and listening.  Evaluation of the experimental group was performed by means of descriptive survey methodology, simple statistical analysis, and critical pastoral reflection. Statistically significant improvement of the entire experimental population was not observed, although the parent participants separately did demonstrate measurable improvement. The author distributed a questionnaire among the youth of the city to determine their needs.  The author tested and trained a group of eleven sports instructors from the First Baptist Church to implement the project.  The posttest indicated an increase in the instructors' commitment to personal evangelism, flexibility in ministry and the use of sports as a viable tool in ministry.  The author and instructors designed and produced materials to be used in the sports clinics. The sports clinics were implemented and the materials proved
