This project describes programs offered at The Woman's Center of First United Methodist Church, Richardson, Texas.  The programs include methods of self exploration and sharing that enable women to feel affirmed, accepted and connected to themselves, each other and God. Reflection reveals that techniques and ideas influenced by Jungian psychology, a participatory leadership style, and a warm homelike environment cooperatively enable transformation. The purpose of the practicum was to provide a setting in which counseling skills would be improved and in which awareness of women's experiences would be increased.  The project provided an opportunity for reporting the practicum findings and incorporating this information into theological reflection.
