This thesis/project explores how pastors can help congregation members link their stories to the Biblical narrative so that they can deal more effectively with these issues. Using an ethnographic research method, interviews with twenty older adults were used as the foundation for refining the integration of grief and loss to the Biblical narrative. The author used narrative process to design and teach a course on interfaith dialogue. Narrative process helped students enter a dialogue that moved beyond the theoretical, to include the experience of 'lived' faith.
