the basis for and offers a comprehensive, five-year program of continuing education for air force chaplains.  The basis is the institutional needs of the air force and the research-identified needs and interests of chaplains.  These needs are correlated with the applicable principles of holistic growth.  The combined implications become the ingredients of the program. The resulting five-year design was evaluated by fifty-eight chaplains.  They concluded the program was effectively responsive to their needs and interests.
