The foundation of understanding this question is rooted in his calling to lead the covenant community.  The minister is called by God not only to preach but also to serve as a leader of worship.  Many ministers surrender their role as worship leader to others and view their responsibility in worship to be limited to 'bringing the message'.  It is vital that every Presbyterian minister re-examine his role as the primary leader in worship as it is an important part of his calling. During a three-month worship workshop, questionnaires and interviews were administered.  The data indicated improvements in understanding and profit from worship.  Preparation for worship was realized to be essential for true, profitable worship.  The study concludes that worship education should be included in church curriculums.
