Chapter one expresses the need to teach the spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer and fasting.  Chapter two is a review and analysis of the biblical foundation of the practice of spiritual disciplines and expository preaching. Chapter three investigates that churches that are witnessing spiritual maturity based on expository preaching. This chapter also reviews how public speaking can change behavior from a psychological perspective.  Chapter four addresses the steps involved in this ministry project.  This section also shares test score data compiled from the Test Group.  Chapter five contains an analysis of the test results. Comparison was made between the data from the pre-test and post-test. Chapter one outlines the purpose, goals, rational, and research methodology.  Chapter two provides the biblical, historical and theological basis for using expository preaching to teach Christian doctrine.  Examples include Ezra, Nehemiah, Peter, Paul, John Chrysostom, William Perkins, and John A. Broadus.  The theological basis defines the importance of exposition, as well as the necessity of Christian doctrine.  Chapter three discusses expository preaching as a teaching vehicle, followed by several aspects of adult learning. It concludes with the combination to expository preaching and adult learning theory to effect change. Chapter one presented background information, definitions, research instruments and a statement of the projects' three goals.  Chapter two was focused on Biblical, theoretical, and literature foundation for conflict.  Chapter three addressed the social and psychological background of Korean immigrant churches, describing the religious background of Korean mentality, politics of Korea, the history of the Baptist church in Korea, and Korean churches in the U.S.  It identified how authority infected pastors and caused conflict in church. Chapter four attempted to equip pastors with conflict resolution skills. Chapter five evaluated the methodology used to find pastors' conflict. A pastor is a primary source of conflict in church. Chapter four describes the selection of the WMU state consultants and details the content and information of the five training sessions. The chapter addresses the First and Second Great Awakenings and the Prayer Revival of 1857-1858.  Chapter four describes the project's methodology and implementation. Korean Christians are seeking now to stick with their traditional forms of worship services. Thus, this project researches the biblical and historical foundations of worship, and studies the social and psychological factors of Shamanism, Buddhism and Confucianism for present-day Korean worship. These factors were discussed in chapter two and three.  Chapter four focused on the implementation of the Worship Committee training sessions and on the planning for the new worship services.  The methodology of teaching was lecture, discussion and visiting of other churches' worship service. Chapter five analyzed and evaluated the goals, methodology used, data collected from the research instruments and the Worship Committee training program. Chapter three examines contemporary material on the development and implementation of a mission statement and vision statement. Specific steps for the development of each statement are included and the process of implementation is discussed. Chapter four provides a detailed report of the completion of the project, examining each step carefully. Chapter one describes the church setting, defines the project, and provides rationale for this work. Chapter two examines Mal 1:6-2:9 and the book of Acts as representative Old and New Testament passages regarding pastoral leadership and the nature of the church.  Chapter three examines contemporary writings on leadership and the family church and presents a pastoral leadership style for such churches. Chapter four describes the intervention and testing used in the project: sermons and meetings, questionnaires and interviews.  Chapter five analyzes the results of the testing using both subjective and objective evaluations.  It also reviews and comments on the process followed in this project. The grief model of Wayne Oates and the life-cycle model of Erik Erikson are used along with selected Scripture from Psalms 13 and 27 and Lamentations 3.  Chapter two reviews the creation of man and woman, as told in Genesis, and offers an interpretation of God's intention for their relationship, which humans have aborted.  Chapter three examines the disciplines of the psychosocial sciences with particular focus on Erikson's life-cycle task for the young adult's struggle to develop from isolation to intimacy.  Chapter four explores the work of Heinz Kohut and Soren Kierkegaard, and Tommy King to propose, in chapter five, a correlational model of grief for Christian young adults who experience divorce.
