An eight-week course for a group of fifteen parents was developed and implemented, covering such topics as communication, discipline, and faith development.  Pretests and posttests were administered to the group members.  The posttest results revealed increases in the awareness of some important factors for parents affected by divorce.  The responses showed especially favorable reactions to the relational aspect of the group. The project contained three goals: 1) determine the need for the program; 2) develop a program of heritage study; and 3) demonstrate a positive identity enhancement as a result of the program of heritage study.  The project was measured by administration of pretest and posttest questionnaires. Informal interviews provided subjective criteria for evaluation. This statement was tested with the use of a questionnaire, given as both a pretest and posttest, during the fall semester.  An effective female ministry was modeled during worship services in the semester, and a small group Bible study was held for four weeks in October. Data was compiled, cross-tabs were run, and the results were analyzed.  Sex was found to be of some significance as a factor in answering the questions. Pretest and posttest surveys and other instruments were used to evaluate the effects of training. A sound biblical and historical base for the devotional program was constructed by using the literary research presented in chapter 2. Chapter 3 outlines adapted procedures from content analysis used to evaluate the social research data received from the twenty Masterlife members taking part in the project.  The common devotional needs revealed in pretest efforts guided the focus for the new devotional curriculum.  The literary research in chapter 2 was used to address these discovered devotional needs. The author proves the scriptual validity for church outreach to the upwardly mobile and then explains how a nine-member task force of young adults developed an outreach ministry to this segment in its community through their Sunday School department.  Included is a sociological and psychological study of upwardly mobile baby boomers and the types of churches that successfully reach them. Twenty adults who are mentally handicapped, as well as the congregation, participated in the project activities. The research instruments included interviews and questionnaires. Four formation sessions were conducted as an attempt to discover and address the faith needs of each person, followed by four worship services addressing those needs.
