Chapter 2 presents the argument that the biblical pattern for ministry involves consistently and repetitiously applying truths that have already been established and taught. Chapter 3 offers analysis and synthesis of current research in the field of homiletics in order to develop steps for application-oriented sermons and follow-up groups.
