Grounded in the biblical assertions that Christians are to be motivated by the commands to 'love your neighbor as yourself' (Lev 19:18; Luke 10:27) and to 'go and make disciples' (Matt 28:19), the model is built upon three essential concepts: (1) a biblical motive and method for helping the homeless; (2) a comprehensive team mentoring approach; and (3) the necessity of ongoing training and support provided by a local Christian homeless service organization.
