To attain this, the author wrote a seminal guide entitled Masterculture.  Four families were chosen from very different cultural backgrounds, including American, Haitian, Chinese, and Guyanese.  The Masterculture seminar was then held over a period of three months.  It included weekly meals, Bible studies and studies in cultural anthropology. A seven-session seminar was designed to provide information on the characteristics of the community as well as on models of innovative ministry which might be applicable to the church's ministry situation.  The sessions and their development are structured in a way that fosters participant self-discovery of the relevance and applicability of information to the church's structure and ministry. The people who will find this project most beneficial will be young men in ministry who have not been able to attend a Christian college or seminary, men who are called to preach later in life, bi-vocational pastors, and laymen who have opportunity to preach occasionally.  A second group of people who will benefit is those to whom these men minister on a regular basis.  The project was accomplished by contracting with a group of about ten interested men to meet once a week over a period of ten weeks for two-hour sessions.
