The unconscious aspect of personality is referred to by Carl Jung as the tertiary function. The vulnerability of the Auxiliary Reserve contributes to the development of spirituality by reminding the psyche of its incomplete nature while counteracting the level of the psyche's conscious activity. A Personality Type Inventory is developed to identify the focus of an individual's spirituality in terms of the perceptual approach within the Auxiliary Reserve."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791127803136049152,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:49:43.252Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:26:35Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:58:50Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"56770f18-e19a-4651-9637-6f75e5410aea","accessControl_ssim":["3b9e286f-bef8-4dae-8f65-8d354ecd8a89"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["In search of the lost soul: the experience and meaning of estrangement"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T20:26:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:40:14Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["fa811ddb-089c-47eb-b852-a68d17e5b84a"],"hasLease_ssim":["453e1efb-8b4f-4477-a303-60cc1e366c3b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["St Stephen's College (Edmonton, AB)"],"advisor_tesim":["John C Carr"],"year_tesim":["2001"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Francis Christopher Coffin"],"publisher_tesim":["St. Stephen's College University of Alberta"],"subject_tesim":["Alienation (Social psychology)","Prisons and prisoners--Canada","Psychology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This phenomenological research involved in-depth field interviews with four male inmates. The research unfolded their experiences as a means of shedding light on the dark world of the lost soul. The author explores the lived experience of the lost soul, examining the process of humanity's struggle from existence to essence, and the impediments to that process. The analysis was grounded in Tillich and Ricoeur and the psychological theories of Rizzuto, Meissner and Freud. Ministry with persons living in the dark world of the lost soul involves trying to help them focus within themselves, where they may begin to find the essence of their identity."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799719989922496512,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:58:51.112Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":2,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Donald A Wright","hits":1,"label":"Donald A Wright"},{"value":"Francis Christopher Coffin","hits":1,"label":"Francis Christopher Coffin"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Psychology","hits":2,"label":"Psychology"},{"value":"Alienation (Social psychology)","hits":1,"label":"Alienation (Social psychology)"},{"value":"Jung, C.
