The methods are as follows: the expert method; the exorcism method; the power method; the resistance method; the psychology method; and the teaching method. The author develops a seventh method which is a combination of the six.  He suggests that each of the methods has strengths and weaknesses which enhance or limit its effectiveness in certain situations.
