This work examines biblical prayer in both the Old and New Testaments, as well as investigates the history of prayer practice in the Presbyterian polity. Muslim attitudes toward Christianity are analyzed as expressed in the literature of the period and in a field study conducted in 2011-2012. The theme of God's saving victory is identified as an aid in helping Muslims understand the Bible. Jesus' person and work are explained in terms that are more comprehensible to Muslims. Muslim attitudes toward Egypt's Christians are explored.
