The report began with a survey of psychological, sociological, and theological insights into male depression.  The support group consisted of eight weekly sessions with homework assignments drawn from CR material, Hart's book, and daily devotionals. The key conclusion of the project was that depressed Christian men can be aided significantly through an integrated, Bible-based support group. Though these Koreans have been living as Soviets under the old Soviet socialist system, their ethnic identity had been challenged since the October Revolution of 1917.  Now, after the independence of Uzbekistan in 1991, they face once more a crisis in their political and ethnic situation. Due to these circumstances, the identity of Uzbekistan Koreans has gone through changes and become assimilated into the environment. This research presents, in detail, the process of transformation of the ethnic identity of Koreans who were participants in particular historic circumstances of Uzbekistan. The research will analyze from a missiological point of view the significance of  the preservation of and the change in ethnic identity of a minority in a multi-ethnic nation, and suggests a model of mission strategy to Koreans in Uzbekistan based on that analysis. Their work, however, has not yet had a great impact on the Muslim sector of the population.  This study attempts to find solutions to this problem.  It consists of two surveys.  The first shows the attitudes and practices of the churches concerning church planting.  The second gives counsel from Muslim ministry workers on how to get the job done.
