On the process of sermon development, the preacher should discover the single unified concept of a text in which its theology is stated followed by seeking its contemporary significance. Hence, the preacher must know the biblical world and the modern world. Various literatures are reviewed to gain deeper understanding on historical, biblical, missiological, cultural and educational perspectives. This qualitative research is conducted by using a descriptive, inductive research methodology and involved interviews of China Evangelical Seminary missionary alumni.
