So many Christians do not experience the peace joy and love of Jesus because they do not have that point of connection with Jesus. Spiritual Disciplines are the greatest means to grow in intimacy and relationship with Jesus Christ. As a result, eleven various Spiritual Disciplines were presented to First Baptist Church, Alexandria, Indiana. The disciplines included in this project were: Journaling, service, bible reading, celebration, meditation, silence and solitude, confession, prayer, worship, fasting, and fellowship. The Spiritual Disciplines were presented to the church through preaching and Sunday School. The issues are 'when does life begin?', 'reproductive technology', 'facing end of life issues', and 'same sex relationships and the church.' The result of 102 pastors surveyed were tabulated using a Likert and percentage scale format. Graphs were used to demonstrate the pastors' responses in contrast with evangelical bioethical literature. Through this process, he pursued to develop more powerful and effective expository preaching in contemporary context of Korea. This project evaluated core classes in light of the Apostle Paul's goal of strengthening churches and their members, the biblical content of the kerygma and the didache necessary to strengthen every Christian, the means of instruction for facilitating lifelong learning, and the means of assessing the progress of the learners as a result of the teaching. The research design combines feedback from church leadership and participants as well as non-participants in the classes through surveys and open-ended interviews. It focuses on the promotion of short-term missions through a six-part sermon series that appeals for those in today's church to participate. Personal testimonies, video clips and other resources are also included. This project developed a seminar to encourage older women in practical godliness that they could teach in their churhces. The nine participants in Chimbote, Peru, were evaluated three months later to determine content remembered, behavioral impact, and experiences as they taught in their churches. This project introduces small group ministry to Grace Baptist Church of Cedarville, Ohio through the development and evaluation of a pilot program. This congregation's conservative roots, circumstances, and culture required strong biblical and theological evidence of the validity of small groups. A small group model was adopted and tested in a thirteen week pilot program. The model aimed to strengthen biblical community and spiritual formation. The significance of the book of Revelation, especially Revelation 12 and 13, is presented as the theme book for developing a strong biblical foundation. Based on her study, this researcher recommends a stronger integration of biblical theology and missiology in order to establish a biblical foundation for spiritual warfare. In addition, this research suggests a need of a leadership or mission conference for the development of leaders in cross-cultural contexts. A final recommendation is for the building of closer relationships and cooperation among those in different ministry contexts: para-church, missions agencies, local church, and
