A manual used for session content was written.  The goal was to make membership meaningful at the church.  Three seminars were evaluated.  It was the author's objective to increase the effectiveness of the church in communicating and teaching the value of membership to prospective new members. The methodological approach involved equipping the elders through training sessions. The goals of this project are: 1) to systematize some practical, life-related biblical principles that have shaped the scriptural understanding of present church members; 2) to develop a means of introducing new members to these principles; 3) to facilitate the orientation of new members to the biblical concepts that have influenced the church family; 4) to help new members identify areas of personal need and find initial solutions, visualizing the church as a resource for growth and development; 5) to provide small group learning experiences, giving opportunity for bonding, security, and friendship.  The validation of the project is supported by both theology and survey resources.
