The object of the project was to meet the course objectives being achieved in face-to-face instruction. The course was taught in the fall of 2001. Student achievement of the objectives was measured through course assignments, as well as a pre- and post-test of student confidence and competence for youth ministry. Students in the online version of the course achieved the course objectives but exhibited a higher non-completion rate. The purpose of the computer workbook is to assist beginning Greek students in learning the elements of the language using an interesting and interactive format. After researching the use of computers in education the author developed a workbook designed to provide drill and practice exercises with immediate feedback and reinforcement.
