The author's research also leads him to conclude that such worship brings spiritual transformation to God's people spontaneously.  The ability to utilize music appropriately and skillfully is instrumental in bringing about an awareness of the manifested presence of God during worship. The ten issues highlighted were: (1) who am I? (2) God's Word, (3) prayer, (4) solitude, (5) time, (6) pain, (7) temptation, (8) humility, (9) forgiveness, and (10) the evidence, which is the fruit of the Spirit.  The project was accomplished in ten teaching sessions which lasted 1 1/2 hours per session.  Individual mentoring was also part of the process. Interviews, focus groups, and research into masculinity and its development from the scripture and other literature formed a basis from which to make recommendations for future ministry.
