A brief comparison of the Postmodern and Enlightenment eras is followed by communication principles and guidelines regarding clarity and relevancy.  Selected Greek terms referring to the act of preaching and New Testament 'sermons' will provide insight into developing clear and relevant sermons. The positive elements, criticisms, responses to its critics, and the current status of this type of theology are reviewed.  The project includes an evangelical response to revolutionary liberationism.
