The methodological approach involved equipping the elders through training sessions. The description of said field test is the purpose of the dissertation.  The results of the tests showed that personal attention towards the trainees and behavioral objectives related task orientation of 'on-the-job' training were effective tools of church-planting motivation. Chapter 6 includes the admissions and the academic information.  In chapter 7 the needs for the implementation of a seminary are stated. Five cross-cultural training principles provided the structure.  The exit phase stresses skills required for a cross-cultural ministry.  The entry phase equips the newcomers to adjust to their new environment and to achieve communicative competence. Methods and measurable results are included in the project. SIM International directed each area to revise its orientation program and state measurable objectives.
