The author draws principles from Apostle Paul's relationship with the Corinthians, interpersonal theory, and pastoral theology.  The manual presents a three-step program: education, evaluation, and application. A systems approach, management by objectives (MBO), was employed along with the model II organizational theory of Christ Argyris.  Personal and organizational targets were established on the basis of desired outcomes. Results achieved were then measured  against the original goals.  A basic design consideration was the maxim, 'people tend to support what they help create.'  Therefore staff participated at each level of the process. The project, which could serve as a model or catalyst for improving worship at similar churches, examines the theological and historical roots of worship. From this review, certain biblical and foundational principles to creative authentic worship were noted.  The method of study included the use of a questionnaire and an in-depth worship analysis with the spiritual leadership of the church.  Creative worship is not a gimmick for coercing worshippers or a means of pumping a new spirit in a decaying institution. The project examines the basic issues involved in contextualization and offers a defense for the procedure used.  The writer identifies biblical principles of leadership by examining biblical terminology, teaching passages, and character studies.  Traditional patterns of leadership among Alaskan natives as found in the ethnographic literature is described. A goal of 1.4 million dollars was established.  Two years were allotted to involve as many as possible of Canda's 300 churches and her 50,000 constituents.  The funds would build a church to seat 1,000 people and a Christian education unit.  All remaining funds would be used for on-going evangelistic programs.  This thesis explains the method of fund raising used and serves to model similar future endeavors.  We received 1.1 million dollars towards our goal. Finally, the essential elements for the construction of a theology of missionary motivation are presented.
