A survey of current thinking on team ministry/equipping is included as well as a model of team ministry/equipping for application in a local church. First a biblical study of both Old and New Testament was done.  Second, a functional model was developed which allowed the uniqueness of both responsibilities to be developed.  Third, a six-lesson course to communicate this information was developed.  A brief survey of some other congregations was included.  The results in the Morris congregation have been positive in terms of the development, both spiritual and functional, of existing and new leaders. The conclusions show that the outreaches may not result in many decisions for Christ initially.
