Seven congregants participated in a six-week Bible study on God's will for divine health with a focus on God's goodness. Each session included prayer, worship, lecture, discussion, and reflective journaling. Interviews, surveys, field notes, and journaling validated the qualitative case studies. Results indicate obstacles were identified, and four out of six participants that identified obstacles chose to begin the process of overcoming those obstacles. Research methodology used quantitative and qualitative measures. Participants had the opportunity to grow spiritually and in relationship with God. Through classes and methods of spiritual awareness, participants showed, from pre-test to post-test, significant change in understanding and moving Christian principles into praxis. The model allows children, with the companionship of a spiritual support provider, to name their pain, spend time with God, and move from despair to hope, finding peace through discovering spiritual integration. These spiritual practices were addressed through a strategically planned ten-session program consisting of meditations, lectures, and workshops. A pre and post assessment was developed to measure attitudinal changes in areas specified. The methodology used was a workshop, worship services, questionnaires, a sermon, and surveys. To evaluate the project, the author used focus groups and written evaluations.
