The project used a set of interfaith activities and was implemented in Charleston, West Virginia in a series of meetings between members of a local church and the Islamic center. The results were positive, as participants characterized the activities as a valuable learning experience that changed their perceptions of each other's religions. The hypothesis of this project is simple: knowledge plus experience equals acceptance. Through the research methods of surveys, interviews, and focus group instruction, the author discovered the validity of the projects hypothesis.
