The method used to develop the model followed two designs: the use of a survey questionnaire, and the interaction with and observation of a group of twelve pastors and interns. Together these sources suggested a type of supervision which focused on administration of congregational life and program, pastoral care, social ministry, stewardship, enabling lay ministry, and which experienced the supervisory relationship as one of working together and planning jointly. This project sought to assist such growth through developing personal learning plans based on ministry needs in a supportive group context.  Ten Fort Wayne Lutheran pastors met monthly for eight months. Beginning with lay and self-evaluation of pastoral functions, each pastor developed a learning plan complete with goals, resources, time table and accountability structure. The method of study is a systematic analysis of every facet and/or component that constitutes the total setting of crisis conflict.  The conflict resolution methodology is dialogical interaction between the various components within the contextual setting.
