A systems approach to leading and facilitating such shared ministry programs is needed in today's church if the local church is to effectively assist its members to live out their baptismal call and that the practical ways in which system components are implemented must reflect both sound management and leadership theory and a solid theological foundation.  The thesis consists of two parts.
