Second, it employs a matrix for theological reflection, engaging the positive, negative, creative, and transformative aspects of embodiment and sexuality in order to create a liberative, eschatological vision. What makes this retreat and The Sourcebook unique is that it integrates the Hindu chakra system and world spiritual traditions. The chakra system is an ancient belief that there are energy centers in the body that govern daily activity. Weaving these centers to six spiritual practices (grounding from American Indian spirituality, meditation from Buddhism, praise from Islam, service from Christianity, study from Judaism, and contemplation from Hinduism) provides the seeker with depth and breadth of experience and expertise in the application of these spiritual practices in daily life."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130868957315072,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:38:27.047Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T13:18:45Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:36:54Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"787973e8-2ef6-4952-bdf7-180751b54535","accessControl_ssim":["596a9c65-97c9-45cb-8e4d-9e86d42c18a8"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Creation care learning, celebration, and action in congregations"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T13:18:44Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:40:21Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["27a1c8bc-f8db-4fb3-8181-ca267253db19"],"hasLease_ssim":["516d5766-38bf-49eb-a44a-f64d150826a8"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities"],"advisor_tesim":["Jean Morris Trumbauer"],"year_tesim":["2010"],"location_tesim":["Minnesota--Bloomington"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Thomas D Harries"],"publisher_tesim":["United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities"],"subject_tesim":["Ecotheology","Episcopal Ecological Network","Christian stewardship"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The project explored three basic questions: what are congregations actually doing to learn about environmental stewardship, celebrate creation, and care for the environment? Since then, changes in society, religion and the university itself have created a far different cultural setting for university congregations. Through a survey of American Baptist university churches and case studies of two congregations, mission and identity in the university church are explored. Churches studied exhibited a strong sense of identity, strong connections with the community, strong connections between faith and learning, 'spiritual balance,' and were reappropriating the church's tradition for the present day. The project includes reflections on five stances that churches may take toward the university."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130801987911680,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:37:23.179Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:14:31Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:10:13Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"75dbb7e3-4f19-44ee-b654-36949068e56b","accessControl_ssim":["2050ebfe-82f6-4fd3-9340-6d8c8a272498"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Teaching theological anthropology in the Roman Catholic high schools: a qualitative study of the experiences of nine educators"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T11:14:27Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:35:41Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["998bfd15-231c-4f79-b188-c14aeb8a7837"],"hasLease_ssim":["16a37f7c-b044-47b2-8904-73f3348e753d"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities"],"advisor_tesim":["Barbara Anne Keely"],"year_tesim":["2007"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Janet M Watson"],"keyword_tesim":["Christian education of youth"],"publisher_tesim":["United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities"],"subject_tesim":["Sex role","Church schools","Catholic Church","Education","Catechisms","Theological anthropology","Youth","Education, Secondary"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences of nine religious educators in Roman Catholic high schools as they teach the theological anthropology presented in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1992).
