The process aimed to assist principals in Catholic education to identify their own faith development needs and to clarify their ministry in today's cultural climate.  The process was developed with seven principals in the Halton Roman Catholic School Board (Burlington, Ontario) from June 1990 to June 1991. COR is a three-day experience of Christian living, popular with youth, but which has not been critically examined in the church.  A school-based COR was analyzed for its ability to enhance faith development using the faith development research instruments derived from the faith development theory of Dr James Fowler. Over eight monthly sessions, ten teachers--five beginning and five experienced--reflected on the meaning of the vocation to teach in a Catholic high school.  In the experience teachers formed one another collaboratively through their questions, stories, examples and passion for the Catholic education project. The author sought to discover whether or not such a ministerial identity appropriation took place; how students recognized such an appropriation; and to what extent the process of theological reflection in the seminar setting was critical to the act of appropriation. Analysis revealed that participants experienced personal growth and integration as an ongoing process with six distinct phases, and that other persons play an important role in that process. Qualitative, feminist methodology was used to design a process which included storytelling, theological reflection and social analysis.  Participating in the research were women from Roman Catholic and Protestant denominations. To increase their personal and structural awareness of sexism, a method of theological reflection on sexism and ministry was designed and used. The qualitative and feminist research methodology gathered data by means of field notes, journals, evaluations and presentations of the theological reflection method. Consciousness, theology and behaviour were manifestly altered in each of the four seminarians. The Firstborn of all creation suffers today in the devastation of the planet.  To preach on the Passion a preacher requires a perspective transformation.  A perspective transformation is a form of adult learning in which people come to realize the limitations of their culturally induced and taken-for-granted world view and then take action to change it.  In a series of meetings using a method of qualitative research of a phenomenological nature, the author discovered that it is possible to facilitate a perspective transformation from mechanistic to an organicist world view. The Youth Corps (Toronto, Canada) experience was chosen as an existing operational vehicle for the research. As a qualitative study, the bias was lessened by asking predetermined questions to former team members of Youth Corps.  The results demonstrated that the team model is an effective approach to ministry.  It challenges people to work within a meaningful vision, to respond to action, and to an awareness of every person's leadership role.
