The practice of confirmation in a local church provided the setting for the project, conducted over a 13-week period with persons between adolescence and adulthood. The issue at hand is the improvement of confirmation training and the training for discipleship in general. The author suggests that the books of Luke and Acts together describe a course of study for new Christians. The thesis is that the content of the early church's discipleship training focused primarily on the life of Jesus and the lives of contemporary saints. The project based on this thesis is a multimedia tool for discipleship that uses original songs, text and Internet computer language to offer a synopsis of Jesus' life as primary model and contemporary saints, Oscar Romero and Mother Teresa, as corollaries.
