Systematic precautions against suicide in Korea, however, are insufficient compared to other developed countries. In the Korean military, suicide is the number one cause of death, and personal and family wounds caused by suicide are a major and difficult problem. The author researched suicide prevention education for chaplain assistants so that it could be more effective. Many topics were discussed, including what chaplain assistants can strive for in terms of suicide prevention for soldiers who are living together with them in the army. The participating chaplain assistants have come to understand the seriousness of the suicide problem, know effective methods of prevention, and give a positive response that they can be more specifically and actively committed to prevent suicide."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799715954753536000,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:54:42.875Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:34:16Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:32:20Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"e35b5b67-2b30-4f24-9136-e41b3ac6fd01","accessControl_ssim":["2355ad44-5237-4c8f-96f9-510c6cf3177f"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["HMong for life: spiritual and social transformation"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:34:15Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:37:58Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["bd4bcf3a-e874-4698-9990-c0bdcdcb2f9c"],"hasLease_ssim":["28a517ee-b27f-4181-a971-35762ff99efd"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Bruce C Birch"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"location_tesim":["United States"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. The writer will develop an effective leadership model that empowers young adults to assume leadership roles within a reasonable timeframe in comparison to the present paradigm. The research will address the overall history and social climate of the church as its relates to the current leadership model. The writer's purpose is to ensure perpetuity of the church by embracing relevant leadership structures to reflect a multi-generational membership, yet without compromising the church's traditional dynamics."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799719981814906880,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:58:43.379Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:34:05Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:05:50Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"58752d0e-3400-407c-8329-bc56a8e4851f","accessControl_ssim":["30a40583-c9e9-4993-89c5-0d1ad71fb523"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Off the beaten path: vital and relevant ministries outside the walls of the church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:34:03Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:43:29Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["6f79ea7e-3196-4056-b639-454deb1dd4db"],"hasLease_ssim":["f9ecfc3c-02a7-4385-933d-aa590614dafc"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Lovett H Weems"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. Church may likely not function effectively without proper knowledge of the organizational polity. This project is a resource for leadership empowerment, especially for pastors in charge of local church. The project highlights the functions and connectional relationships within the church.
