This is intended to help churches and church members grow through pastoral transformation towards diaconial ministry through listening to a series of sermons and participation in social service activities. The dissertation is made up of a theological part and a pastoral practical part.  In the theological part, I will explore the biblical understanding of diaconia and modern theological understanding. In the practical part, I would like to suggest and practice diaconia ministry by renewing all areas of ministry. Using Wesley's spiritual experience, this research explores the necessity of an artistic ministry based on a theology of art, and applies it to the ministry of Gochon Church. This thesis analyzes the effects on local residents through practice of temporal arts (arts based on tempo) as manifested by the Gimpo Youth orchestra and professional artists, and spatial art in the Gochon Church building, which includes Café Theba, Cross gallery, and a professional art hall. It appears from this study that there are faith-specific support programs to be taken into consideration when exploring the concerns of combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD. The story of the day shelter and the women who established and ran it was told to members of Univted Methodist Women. The author explored how reclaiming the model of prayer found in the Psalms and its undergirding theology may offer a healthier model of prayer. Lectio Divina was introduced as a vehicle to encourage retreat participants to write their own poem/prayers.
