The study used an integrated approach, combining archival and survey methods. Five theoogical issues are explored as they inform partnership. They are the Trinity, the purpose of God (missio Dei), the body of Christ, the gifts of the Spirit, and the church -- both local and universal. A survey was used to have attendees of the CAR Consultation reflect on these theological issues in the context of partnership. Both the missio Dei and Christian missions take on new meanings from cosmic conflict paradigm. This study shows seven dimensions of Christian missions in correspondence with a sevenfold mission of Christ. It also derives its practical implications in Christian communication, Gospel contextualizations and world religions based on the proposed new paradigm for missiology."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Western Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["910240dd-6bfb-49cb-ab06-1b8de036aac8"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131793928224768,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:53:09.168Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T13:21:39Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:52:46Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"162dd03b-53cb-468e-960c-c5676bb1b023","accessControl_ssim":["06ac7b27-456d-403e-a039-cf4ed57becd0"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Missiological case studies of evangelizing older people in Toronto, Canada"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T13:21:38Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:46:27Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["4bc2bad4-a937-4d88-bade-6e4797b31a7b"],"hasLease_ssim":["3bfad464-ab1a-4f30-b45c-4054863838a5"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Western Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Enoch Wan"],"year_tesim":["2009"],"location_tesim":["Canada","Ontario--Toronto"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["James Wai-yin Pang"],"publisher_tesim":["Western Seminary (Portland, OR)"],"subject_tesim":["Strategy","Chinese","Church history","Church work with older people","Missions"],"language_tesim":["English"],"alternative_title_tesim":["Abstract has title: Missiogical case studies of evangelizing older people in Toronto, Canada"],"abstract_tesim":["Global aging is one of the main concerns in the twenty-first century. This is also an on-going issue occurring in Canada. The purpose of this study is to describe how two Chinese congregations and a mission organization evangelize older people in the city of Toronto. The researcher utilized a mixed methods approach to collect ethnographic data of Christian efforts evangelizing older people by the three groups of Christians. The study explores several ways of recruiting Christians to evangelize older people and confirms the need of mission training and mission strategy to evangelize older people in the context of the twenty-first century."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Western Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["910240dd-6bfb-49cb-ab06-1b8de036aac8"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131772854992896,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:52:49.070Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T13:20:37Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:02:18Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"8711feda-54c8-42f8-827e-00e141f38361","accessControl_ssim":["b2f52fe8-6168-4e90-90c6-c60e81e00fd6"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Worldventure field leaders: a phenomenological study"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T13:20:36Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:06:41Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["41066838-9452-4649-bf44-2d63fed1ab28"],"hasLease_ssim":["33950488-7883-40a3-8fd7-9af380d32c15"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Western Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Enoch Wan"],"year_tesim":["2010"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Jeffrey Wayne Denlinger"],"keyword_tesim":["Religious surveys"],"publisher_tesim":["Western Seminary (Portland, OR)"],"subject_tesim":["Strategy","Missions"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Guided by the question, 'How do WorldVenture field leaders perceive and describe their experiences as field leaders?' a transcendental phenomenological approach was used to analyze the transcribed interview data of the research participants. Therefore, the archival research, questionnaires responses from 55 missionaries in Ethiopia, the literature reviews of scholars and interviews of respective people were intensively conducted as part of data collection.
