It assumes that healthy churches in urban Africa are both theologically and contextually reflective.  The project opens laying biblical foundations from Hebrew 12:23.  Contextual factors are then presented: urbanization, Maputo's history, globalization in Maputo, cultural contours, and a community analysis of one urban neighborhood.  Six contextual theology/ministry attempts are analyzed.  Fifteen theological institutions are summarized and the results of a survey of church planters are then presented. Volume 1 is an anthropological analysis of Sundanese culture, with special emphasis on the spirit realm. Volume 2 is a theological examination of the Kingdom of God.  Volume 3 is pastoral: 25 practical Bible studies on the Kingdom, showing how the theology of the Kingdom relates to the Sundanese.
