It isolates specific aspects for understanding church leadership as participating with Christ as he leads his church. The author's research included a wide variety of sources from both the past and the present. It also included personal interviews, and evaluations of culture and church trends. The ministry model was analyzed by a group of twenty-one critical readers. This project also reports on a counseling practicum, first assessing the popular music and other 'counselors' already speaking to the counselee, then selecting, or writing and performing, suitable songs for the counselee, as part of a whole counseling process, toward hope, prayer, repentance and faith, and change. The aim of this study is to show churches can use a mentoring model to help experienced teachers transfer practical knowledge to trainees and multiply available, trained teachers. A secondary aim is to show that the mentoring model matches biblical principles. This study, through an integrative review and critical analysis of literature, explores the biblical, theological foundations of teacher training, surveys the development of teacher training in the church, and based on the Bible and history presents a model for teacher apprenticeship. To counteract this immaturity, he designed 'Changing Christian Hearts and Lives,' group study material that offers a practical way for the Korean church to overcome this difficulty. His main argument is that the church needs to concentrate primarily on nurturing Korean Christians by changing their hearts, because although the heart is the innermost center of man, '[t]he heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure' (Jer
