This model helps congregations determine whether a pedagogical or andragogical approach to teaching and learning is the most appropriate for that particular context.  Eight chapters focus on key areas of the teaching/learning experience.  A theoretical consideration of each topic is offered, as well as a practical teaching/learning strategy that can be utilized within teacher training sessions. A survey was conducted with a treatment group and a control group.  The treatment group was reissued the survey after a year's time.  The treatment group also was part of a workshop seminar. In a six year period of time, the Berean Baptist Church had replaced two ministers due to internal conflict.  In spite of church membership growth there appeared to be a need for leadership training.  Some members agreed to attend leadership development classes.
