My proposal involved pre-testing subjects to determine their level of knowledge regarding health care issues.  Subsequently, the study conducted a series of seminars designed to increase the participants' knowledge on issues of health care.  Following those seminars, the study evaluated its results by post-testing the participants to determine the extent of acquired knowledge. Methods used were workshops, a live radio broadcast and surveys.  The curriculum bridged generational communication gaps and stressed the importance of spirituals, hymns, gospel, and contemporary Christian music using techniques developed to educate and stimulate creativity. The author contends that the black church should adapt to the language of youth via Hip Hop to develop rap music as a resource.
