The ethnographic interviews with seventy-two prominent South Asian church leaders and the qualitative, phenomenological analysis of it yielded significant findings. He will also work up a model for church development to submit to the China Assemblies of God Council. In this dissertation the writer, through the lens of the developing history of the Pentecostal faith, faces the possibility of the American Assemblies of God pulling out its missionaries from Taiwan and considers that situation in light of the lack of enough Taiwanese ministers. The question to be asked is: what should the China Assemblies of God in Taiwan do to continue their evangelical ministry in the 21st century, this era of booming information? The trend of future ministry development for the churches and organizations which belong to the China Assemblies of God is also discussed. The 'church ministry' of the China Assemvlies of God is the primary aim to writer's reasearch. It begins with a study of the lives of Moses and Paul, and then reviews select, current leadership literature. This project interviewed 14 Assemblies of God leaders, and found that a pre-adolescent experience of faith in Christ and a stable home life were foundational in their lives. The manual analyzes the theological, historical, sociological, and practical roles of first-century evangelists and applies them to evangelists of the twenty-first century. Data from two national surveys of pastors and evangelists build a bridge between these ministry gifts.
