The project consisted of two phases.  During phase one the project director explored the demographics of Covington County, Alabama, and the profile of Covington Baptist Association Churches.  During this phase the project director also investigated existing strategy models in order to discover the best practices in strategy development.  During phase two the project director led a selected group of leaders of the Covington Baptist Association of Covington County, Alabama, to develop a multifaceted strategy for the association. This strategy was completed through four main goals: the team explored existing ministry evangelism strategies and outstanding church ministry evangelism practices of First Baptist Church, Bonifay; examined the ministry needs of Holmes County, Florida; created a ministry evangelism strategy; and presented this strategy plan to the church leadership. This objective was achieved through in-depth interviews of church pastors who were responsible for the spiritual well-being of the single women in their churches. The program emphasized a team approach to grief ministry that, when implemented, enables church members to meet the needs of the grieving. A pre-test/post-test was designed and employed with results showing significant differences.  The results were attributed to the training of the selected members. A prayer guide was used during the forty day exercise. Interviews and a questionnaire were used to capture the participants' prayer practices before and after the forty days. The analysis of the participants' responses provided the research with a before and after picture of the participant's prayer lives.
