The project director's professional goals included increased knowledge of church discipline as a ministry of restoration for church members who have fallen into sin. Chapter 1 consists of the ministry context and overview of the project.  Chapter 2 is an examination of eight biblical texts concerning church discipline.  Chapter 3 consists of material from mostly secular sources dealing with communication theory and communication as it relates to bringing change to an organization.  Chapter 4 is the execution of all the aspects of the project itself.  Chapter 5 is an examination of the data obtained in chapter 4 and an evaluation of the project as a whole. The congregation participated in a six-week course on biblical church discipline. Through surveys and focus groups, the project leaders was able to assess the effectiveness of the project.
