Chapter three includes a full-length seminary course on the basic skills needed to analyze a passage's poetics, theology, and rhetoric. Based on research in Psalms scholarship, poetics, speech, homiletics, and theology, the project devises preaching strategies appropriate to the genre in order to prepare, present, and evaluate response to five propositional and five genre-sensitive sermons.
